Just finished re reading this 'counter culture' classic. Read in in the mid to late 80's and went back to it with a different perspective now. Enjoyed it more this time as I understood better what it was getting at. Of course the main reason I was drawn to it then and now is because Hawkwind have a song inspired by it, so if it caused Robert Calvert to put pen to paper, there must be something right about it!!
