Hot!

We visited John's sister in Harrogate this morning to collect something so we thought we may as well take the opportunity to go to nearby Harlow Carr RHS gardens.

It was a bit dull, though dry and not really too cold but all the pictures I took were a bit dark. There are lots of new willow art sculptures dotted around the park; an ant; an inchworm and Betsy the Bee as well as the boxing hares that have been around now for several years.

In the green house there was this wonderful selection of chillies. Wonderful and colourful and certainly the brightest thing to be seen today. Definitely hot.

Had lunch in Betty's and bumped into Wendles56 with Tony and his sister.

Now getting ready to go out for early door's drinks with friends.

(On our way to Harrogate we had a text warning us that John's sister was held up at the dr's with her eldest son. Her appt was 9.00 am but she was still waiting at 9.25. A little later we got another text saying they couldn't find the dr! Eventually the appt was cancelled - not good especially as she herself is a GP) I have to admit it made us smile but it does make you wonder.
