St Mary's Brownedge, Bamber Bridge
This is the Catholic church my other half frequents when we're up in Preston. At least 5 five generations of his family have attended over the years. Both his parents, a grandmother and uncle are also buried here.
It was founded in 1720 by Father Oswald Eaves. Up until November 2016, it was served by Benedictine Monks from Ampleforth Abbey.
We went for a short walk around the local area past this church this morning to enjoy the sunshine.
We then went for lunch with my other half's family.
We set off for Liverpool this evening. I'd booked tickets to see Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark in concert at the Liverpool Empire for a birthday present. I'd never seen them live before and was suitably impressed. It was a great night.
