Autumn Fishing

WRPerry and I went to several lake locations this morning and were fortunate enough to see and hear some Kingfishers, but they were quite elusive to capture, at least for me.  As I have mentioned, this is not a good year for foliage, apparently because we had so little rain in August and September.  Along the lake's edge there were pockets of color, so when I saw this fishing boat, I waited until it sailed in front of a couple of trees that were at their peak.  Otherwise, it was a cold, rather dark, damp and dreary day and we were chilled to the bone by the time we were done.
