Evening sun

Another madly busy day, and a delicious mushroom soup. Just as the light was going I saw the evening sun on the trees across from our garden and I just loved the light so that's my blip for today. I don't think the photo does it justice, really.

I need to learn more about how to capture what I see, especially when the light isn't in my favour! Does anyone know if you can make a camera-phone do more than just the settings it comes with?
