A Day at the Races

A coach took a number of us to the races today.

We met at the pub for a breakfast bacon sandwich and travelled to Fakenham to share the experience of the sport of kings.

No Kings were present.

The bus was full of village friends with diverse knowledge of horses and racing and betting.

I bet on only grey horses and failed to make a monetary gain, but it was an exciting day and we all had fun, the big winner bought drinks all-round when we got back to the village!
