Moonrise - Salisbury Crags and Holyrood Palace

Just before we voted in the Parliament this evening my colleague Tom Arthur pointed out the moon rising above Salisbury Crags opposite the Parliament.

It was a good potential blip but what made it was the golden weathervane above the Queen’s Gallery, glowing in the last of the late autumn / early winter sun.
