Saying goodbye to great grand dad.

We went to my husband's grandfather's funeral today. He was a wonderful person and he had a sunny personality. Where ever he went he got the people around him smile. All my three kids have the same kind of eyes as he did and hopefully they have the same kind of spark inside them as their great grand dad had.

At the church Eemeli got a little bit too loud so I went outside with him. We went to the graveyard to wait the rest. Eemeli saw some birds and then he took two maple tree's leafs one on each hand and started to run and jump. He tried to fly. I loved watching his joy, it was very bittersweet amongst all those graves. It made me appreciate life even more. And hopefully all the souls who are resting there got to see his joy as well and made them smile.
