The torture and the bliss....

This is the scene of some amazing torture....and lots of bliss today!

I had a wonderful massage from Rachael this morning. She is some where between Attila the Hun and a winged angel! she can work the nasty kinks out of my muscles with such a strong, slow and sensitive touch.....i am taken into a place of total surrender and trust.

Being a potter, using my body in the manner i do, for almost 27 years now, has taken it's toll! I sit for extended periods of time in a very unnatural posture...leaning over to my right side.....it's kinda hard to describe....suffice to say, it's not very good for the posture! so i've decided my body (as it is my main tool) needs some special attention and i'm going to see Rachael every 2 weeks now! my body feels looser and softer after she worked on me for an hour!

The blissful part is when she does my feet and hands.....and of course when she stops digging into the poor muscles on my back and shoulders!

It's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada....family will arrive today and we'll have a huge celebratory dinner tomorrow evening. Should be good!
