Avian Quartet

I returned to my Silver Sneakers classes today, which I enjoyed very much, followed by some errands on foot around town, maximizing my step count on my Fitbit.

I've been meaning to blip this eye-catching art by Shawn Cass on the side of a building on Railroad Avenue, and today's dull light after rain was perfect for it.

Shawn's "Bird Alley" graffiti art was funded by donations. Another mural, "Bellingham Community," was paid for by the City of Bellingham, "in hopes of preventing further graffiti tagging and vandalizing," according to this article. 

One more reason I love living here...
