Autumn Colors Still hanging around

We had a wind storm a couple of days ago so many of the leaves have dropped, but some trees are still hanging on to their beautiful leaves. I liked how the sun was shining through these.

So, today didn't go as I expected; I went up to the hospital to see my  great granddaughter before I went to Garden Club and a Massage appointment today. I ended up spending almost all day with her because the discharge from the hospital took a LONG time and the baby Daddy had to leave for a job interview so I ended up driving Mom and Baby Estelle home.....which is on the other side of Portland. We got there about the same time as baby's Daddy returned from his interview. He felt really good about the prospect of second job. They wanted me to stay for awhile and I agreed because the traffic from East Portland to West Portland is terrible most of the day; I waited until the roads were better. I had time to help the kids with several projects ......I was thrilled that they let me help them. 

Now I need to focus on getting things done around home and in my office before we leave for vacation this Sunday.  :-))
