In the valley outside Beijing where the Ming Emperors are buried. This is Changling. Spent a lovely day exploring the valley with Sally’s cousin who lives in Beijing. He had borrowed a car and driver so we were thoroughly spoiled. On top of that the driver knew a wee place for lunch. Fabulous.
