Monster threatens to eat yarn

Don't panic, I managed to rescue the yarn from the monster.
This is the first yarn from the Old Maiden Ant yarn club based on a Sherlock Holmes feel. It's more of a deep reddy brown colour and I love it. There is a pattern to get with it for a shawl and its scrummy too. Just can't start it as got a pile of knitting still to get done so will have to cuddle the yarn for now.
Had a good walk this morning with my friend Lisa. We met the guy behind yesterday's scarecrow blip. He's got plans for expanding the army along the beach and it was fun chatting to him.
I did this thing called housework today. Was a strange thing to do but house is looking a bit better.
Fire is on and cider is imminent so time to relax for the evening.
