Blind Summit
So I was driving home this evening round the back country roads and I flew over a bump in the road which made my stomach leap.
It reminded me of sitting in the back seat with my sisters merrily screaming for my mum to drive faster over the bumpy bit on the way to St Boswells.
Made me giggle.
I was trying to think of how to capture that in a photo when a deer ran across the road in front of me. I braked and came to a stop with this view in front of me.
Blind summits. I LOVE them! They scare you silly cause you have absolutely no idea what's on the other side but blind faith keeps your foot down / throttle open and you get rewarded with this brilliant feeling of weightlessness and relief when what appears over the top is just more road.
The deer would have made a better picture maybe but it served its purpose in making me stop!
