Lake, Water, Ice.
A very cold night last night, so down to the lake with me this morning. Not early I might add. Nearer midday than sunrise. The lake water has been gently lapping around the reeds and anything else growing close to shore. Each time it ebbs back it leaves a tiny drop of water behind. This in turn freezes before the next wavelet deposits another drop. And so on until you have these amazing little discs of ice clinging on. I'm interested to see if they will be much bigger tomorrow.
