Blenheim Day 2

Nice breakfast in The Bear and headed off for Day 2 at the palace. Picked up lots of ideas new education bod from BP an ex actor/interpreter and had a loud booming voice, which he used too effectively on occasion and not enough on others. He had chosen guest speakers well however, in the form of a visiting Head from a local school, who gave me some great ideas. Also a deliverer from Compton Verney. They are an art gallery but have used the new history curriculum out in their grounds to produce a Stone Age, Viking, Roman and Saxon session outside, using the basics of Forest School. Very clever and innovative and has been well received. I am going to start thinking about outside stuff!.

Had a quick tour round the palace while the rest went off to look at the bottling plant and then the 4hour journey home. Next year Harewood, one I have not been to before.
