Fading Fast

I was in my hometown today for a dental appointment (which incidentally was very positive) and found this old house to photograph.  I was puzzled by the pants hanging over the banister of the porch since it appears no one could be living there.  I need to remind myself in taking such photos there were probably many years when someone left for work and school from this house, and people returned home for a meal and family time before bed.
