An Exuberance of Lilies

These are a different bunch to the one I showed last month and they have opened much more quickly.  The flowers are bigger too, but the scent is not so strong.  I love the way they are wildly throwing themselves about in the vase and refusing to be "arranged":-)

A morning at the supermarket and a busy afternoon in the garden planting even more bulbs.  I have done 17 pots now with one still to go and all have had to be emptied, cleaned out, the compost sieved so that some could be re-used, topped up with new compost, bulbs planted and watered, stick tags written and all the pots lined up against the fence in the hope of protecting them from severe frosts!  No wonder I am aching all over:-)

TJ was also busy planting endless daffodils, crocus and tulips in the borders.  Hope it all looks good come the Spring!
