Jacob's Ladder

I was at the Ardroy Outdoor Centre in Lochgoilhead this morning.

Saved from closure by Fife Council by a social enterprise approach, it was great to see Primary 7 from Capshard Primary School, Kirkcaldy enjoying and learning to the full. They were every bit as courageous and committed as the group I saw from North Lanarkshire at Kilbowie Outdoor centre near Oban just over a year ago.

This was demonstrated in lots of ways, but most notably (for me at Least) in the task of climbing Jacob's Ladder , a great team building activity , with lots of scope for individual ambition too.

Perhaps MSPs should try it - though we had a good team effort in the Parliament in June when we debated the outdoor centre and congratulated George Bruce and his team.
