Lift up your eyes and look ......

.... and just sometimes you see the strangest thing.

Walking in the West End this morning I spotted a very large tree trunk in one of the small gardens in front of a block of tenement flats. Looking up I spotted these apples at the top level with the first floor windows. There was no way they could be picked unless someone hung by their toes from an open window .... not to be advised!

I wonder if someone planted a sapling many years ago or did someone just throw an apple core over the fence?
