River Teign

Today I was leading our walking group on the walk from Castle Drogo to Cranbrook Castle and back via Fingle Bridge and the River Teign.  The day started rather misty but the mist quickly cleared and the sun even started to break through when we had lunch at the top of Cranbrook Castle.  It was a rather large group of us on the walk and we made surprisingly good time enjoying the Autumnal colours and views along the way.  It was of course followed by the customary tea and cake.

A good day out and I am so glad we had fairly good visibility from the highest points.
