Give me shelter

Another temporary structure, but one I approve of this time.

Those of you who have spent time in Edinburgh will probably be familiar with Social Bite, the expanding chain of sandwich shops and now restaurants which were set up to help the homeless. Those guys are very impressive, from traffic stopping celebrity visits, to endorsements from former presidents, they know how to get attention. They also deliver though, providing job opportunities and/or food for the homeless and supporting various initiatives. The latest is the most impressive though - building a whole community of these pre-fab houses to provide a route off the streets for people who can support each other in making the difficult transition.

This example has just popped up in front of the old fire station near the art school.
