Not quite Great British Bake Off!

Lottie wanted to bake a cake for her grandma and grandad who celebrate their golden wedding anniversary tomorrow. Seemed like a good idea - she is really into watching all the cookery and baking programmes on tv so we decided to be adventurous and try something other than the usual sponge.

3 hours later we finally finished icing it!! It doesn't look great, just hope it tastes better!
