Box

It was a morning of bus-hopping, first to Portobello to pick up a package from the Royal Mail depot (turned out the garlic heads I'd ordered were too fat to go through the letter box!) then for a few messages, then to J and A's place to check the plants and the post. On my way back home I was passing Lambs House when I noticed a strong scent of box foliage - and realised that all the little border hedges were putting up new, spring-like growth and giving off that lovely distinctive scent. Didn't like to tell them that it isn't spring yet.....
