IS IT YOUR BIRTHDAY ?

Then this rose is for you ! It is called Birthday Present, it is a climber & an absolute beauty. A Melbourne man found this seedling in his garden, on his birthday, hence the name. This is a poor photo, my apologies, it is dull & overcast, no blue sky & a blustery wind. But I must record it, producing as it does an abundance of very dark, highly scented, arching sprays of double blooms. In my book, an absolute cracker. Repeat flowering & disease resistant - the perfect rose. So-o-o-o, if it’s your day, this is your BIRTHDAY PRESENT !

Rain ? I can see it going round the hills & moving ever closer. Mustn’t get to excited !
