To Bee or not 2 Bee…

This lovely Rata bloom is very similar to the Pohutukawa  but tends to flower a little earlier so was showing off as we passed it this morning. It was blowing a bit but The Boss grabbed his fruitphone and got this sharp image without even reaching into his pak for a camera or interrupting The Bossess in her planned progress to a lovely breakfast cafe where he had french toast with lemon curd, black current meringue and bacon.  It was a delicious combination.
There is a big fireworks display tonight but The Bossess has a function and The Boss can't be bothered. 
I am pleased about that even SSD’s (small stuffed dogs) find fireworks displays difficult…Not for the fireworks but all the people that turn out to watch them. You can hardly move.
