Greymouth and Punakaiki

After a miserable rainy night (not surprising given where in the country we were) we went to see the pancake rocks and then down again to go through Shanty Town where the girls (I) panned for gold. They were both expecting large gold nuggets so were a lot disappointed with the 6-7 flakes they (I) ended up panning.
