Just for Grins

The week long activities for Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) began with a loud and lively parade (comparsa) through the streets of downtown Oaxaca. Due to the crowds, I only got glimpses of the costumed participants, but this happy skeleton towered above the throngs. 

Our internet has been basically non functional for the last week, at least in parts of the buildings. The owner has tried various fixes, none of which have solved the problem. Now they are trying a new carrier, so we'll see...
