Blue sky grey sky

A lonesome poppy looking nearly sad, papery with a certain beauty to its age. Again on its own this sunflower is growing after seed dropped from the bird feeder with a nearby budlia determined to show its glowing flower. And yes the ‘not blipped for sometime’ Hypericum androsaemum more commonly known as Tutsan.

The extra my attempt at capturing the visiting Great White Egret near the village this morning. Why didn’t I change the lens..... a phone call just after 9.00 alerted us to head to the loch and there it was. Not a usual visitor and hope to hear more this evening, somebody must have worked out why it’s here. We last seen these on a delta in Spain.
And to add more excitement John spotted a gold crest in the garden.
