Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester

I got the train into Manchester today with no particular plan in mind, but I ended up at the Whitworth Art Gallery - some interesting exhibits on at the moment - but don't ask me about the sculpture in the blip - I have no idea what it is about!

I was meant to be gardening at Bramall Park today, but I am giving things like that a miss to give my knee a chance to recover.

Thank you for all your comments and *'s on yesterday's shot at Quarry Bank House.  I was rather pleased with that photo myself - it was taken with my ultra-wide lens, which has taken quite a bit of practice to get the hang of.
