The Saint Hubertusmarket

People from the region, and beyond, come to this large annual agricultural fair. Meet, greet, eat and drink. The market begins after the Hubertus Mass, where all who are named after this saint are blessed. Not Bert, his full name is Libertus. His parents did not believe in saints, but they did in liberty.
Then, when mass is done, the horses are blessed in front of the church. I like that ceremony very much even though I don't own a horse.

I was waiting for Bert so that we could walk the market together. We started off with kibbeling to not be in temptation to eat anything else.
