The Wallace Monument

This remarkable tower sits atop the Abbey Craig overlooking Stirling and its castle. It is still a stiff climb even today and how they managed to drag those massive lumps of masonry up that slope way back in the 19th century amazes me.
We were out enjoying the sunshine in Cambuskenneth and the autumn colours on the Craig were standing out beautifully.
"Strictly" is about to start-who will be facing the Final Foxtrot?
