And So It Begins

Here are all they guys we are trekking with. Everyone is so nice. From Canada, Ireland and the uk. We had to give ourselves a group name. We are The Young and the Rest Of Us. Today’s climb to our first camp was 12k all up steps...killer on the legs. Altitude affected my breathing. But we did it. Got introduced to the bathrooms! OMG that was a shock.
The porters have done and are doing an incredible job. They carry everything on their backs, run ahead and set up camp. What fantastic men they are.
Our guides Chinos and Winnie are fab. Couldn’t have things any better....apart from toilets!
During the night we all ended up wild weeing. No time for being shy here that’s for sure.
