Rocky Road

Miss H did a lot of baking for our coffee morning and brought it across with her last night. We left it all boxed on the dining table.

I was first up this morning and as saw the dining room floor I thought I was going to be cancelling the coffee morning! Two empty boxes, one identifiable as having had lemon and poppy seed muffins in ( he’d eaten 11 of 12), the other one EMPTY.

Thankfully every thing else was in tact but we worked out that it was a whole Victoria sandwich complete with cream and jam filling that Reggie had eaten.

The coffee morning however was a great success. Thank you every one - and there were at least 4 other Blipper’s there- for coming and supporting us. The total currently stands at £471.

Hope this left over Rocky Road is the only Rocky Road I see along this journey, and that Miss H’s night shift isn’t too bumpy.

Stupidly I didn’t take any photo at the church hall, and Reggie doesn’t seem to have had any ill effects.
