Rainbows

Despite the weather we did go out mid morning as it looked like the sun was coming out. And it did, but then the rain came back and we spent 10 minutes sheltering under a large tree by the church before heading into the café for a light lunch. 
This did give me chance to get a shot of the rainbow that appeared over the river in the distance. And if you look closely you can see the secondary rainbow putting in appearance. 

In the end I was quite glad of the rainbows as there were no woodpeckers, kestrels or stonechats to grace my blip journal today. 

Not too bad a day after all :))
