Last blast

With the forecast of frost in the next couple of days, the Cosmos will be cut off in their prime. This is another Pep Ventosa treatment of a single flower, taken with the macro lens in a brief interlude between bouts of garden tidying. 

New perennials and bulbs were planted, and I gave the lawn its last mow of the season. I was quite surprised to find a Verdigris Agaric growing near the bottom of the garden  - a new species for the garden list.
