This afternoon we took our new Junior Choir tenpin bowling. It was a fun afternoon and, interestingly, the youngest won!

Afterwards I visited someone at Aintree hospital.. I felt I walked miles to find the ward, the signs didn't help and I had to retrace my steps once I found someone to direct me. I must remember to take a ball of string to help me find my car on the way back next time.

I intended going to the village fireworks tonight but I was tired and didn't fancy the rain. When I tried to photograph this lovely rose it quickly fell apart.
