The Lama Temple is the most important Buddhist temple in Beijing. There are a series of temples leading up to the huge main temple that houses the world’s largest Buddha carved from one tree. It must have been quite a tree...it’s enormous. Outside each temple you can make incense offerings. The incense is put in the incense boxes which are huge as there are so many people making offerings.
