Now that all the foliage is dying back, you can really see the nooks and crannies of the garden.  Spotted this blackbirds' nest in the bottom of a NZ flax plant in B&J's garden.  

B and I had a nice gentle walk in the afternoon, her dementia is progressing and she needs encouragement to leave the safety of the house, but having Ollie as company was just the ticket!
