Birthday Boy

Today my age went up by a year. No longer can we drive on the mainland and the children point to a road sign as a reminder of my age!
So we had presents and cards in bed followed by pan-au-chocolat and croissants for breakfast before Tracy and the children all headed off to school.
I spent the day with Grandma and Grandad silver car including an excellent lunch at the Atlantique Hotel. Once the owners knew it was my birthday they came over with gateaux and sang Happy birthday - such nice people.
After school Sophie went to ballet and in the evening Jonathan took part in a Swimmarathon to raise money to put defiblirators around the island. I enjoyed watching him while also keeping an eye on "Island Hospital" - it's great when you can get live tv on the I-Pad via the swimming pool's wifi.
