Heather and the Harvest Festival

Today's blip was meant to be of my children at their Harvest Festival, performing songs etc, however all the pictures were pretty poor, so here is some heather in my garden instead.

I bought the heather a few weeks ago as well as the pansies and violas (see Saturday 29 Sept blip), which the squirrels have now more or less destroyed.

(and in a strange way this has reminded me that I must get my ticket to see The Wedding Present performing their Seamonsters, album 'in its entirety' in Birmingham next month )...
