Autumn trees on the Dalmeny estate
We made the most of another beautiful, sunny, autumn day in Scotland with a 28 mile round trip by bike to North Queensferry. On the outward leg we cycled through the Dalmeny estate, where I admired this rather splendid tree.
Gbees joined us at the mid-point of our ride to lead us across the Forth Road Bridge and take in the view of all three bridges from the 'other' side. Then we crossed the firth again to South Queensferry for lunch in the Little Bakery (where we also bumped into one of my colleagues and her husband).
After all this exercise and fresh air I am looking forward to roast chicken for my supper cooked by Mr hazelh, and then an evening on the sofa watching television.
Exercise today: 28 mile cycle ride to North Queensferry
