Ready steady bake

Lovely slow morning although was woken early by Jack and his buddy.

Did some baking with these two little ones while the big kids played outside. Had a lovely chilled afternoon reading, later chatting with friends enjoyed a glass of wine followed by a nice long soak in the bath.

Sounds idyllic which it was until 8 ish when the boy told me he had tummy ache, an hour later we had full on vomiting which went on all through the night. The poor chap has had hardly any sleep, felt so poorly with raging temperature that couldn’t control as kept being sick.

It was nearly a lovely Saturday!
