Winter is coming

First snow on the Ben today and it felt cold. We went for a long walk along the River Beauly and along farm tracks. Lots of birds in the trees at the beginning of the walk and I think we heard Jays a few times.
The sun did disappear though so it felt even colder. Luckily there were a few breaks in the cloud when the colours came alive. 
There were nice views of the snow capped mountains on the way home.
Hoping Richard gets back ok tomorrow, lots of flights cancelled as there's a severe storm in Iceland.
