At the shore

Fireworks night here, but I couldn't be bothered trying to take a relevant picture. I like this poem on a paving slab down at the shore.

I'm not sure what it is there for, it seems kind of random, and I couldn't find any others, but why not.

Had a big family dinner tonight - David and Alex are up for the weekend from London, and Sarah and Doug came round too, so we had 7 squeezed round the table. Did some throwback Sunday tea items from their childhood, triggering much reminiscence about the good old days. If only Gladiators was still on TV, the nostalgia would have been complete.
