Frost Flower
Our honeysuckle plant has been producing flowers all summer and autumn. Even now a few hardy flowers sit there, hoping one of the few insects still around will thaw out and come by for a bit of nectar.
However, winter is getting closer and now the time of frosts seems to have arrived so this morning the whole plant, including berries and flowers, was covered in frost. Photographing the frost is tricky because I like to have some sunlight picking out the details, but sunlight melts the more delicate frost crystals, as you can see on some of the leaves here. So, as the sun moves around onto a flower I have about a minute to get the picture!
