I know it's bizarre...barmy and bonkers (now there's a new one for DSM). But it keeps me occupied.
This stone's unusual marking reminded me of a little sitting Buddha. I picked it up when I was at the beach the other weekend

I have a friend whom I recall said she can find protracted periods of sitting meditation hard going and I know she's fond of stones so this seemed just perfect for her. For some reason, though, I thought this Buddha needed a setting of some kind. When I was amongst the heads last weekend I found this offcut in the woods and for some reason it spoke out. I carried it down and am working on it to make a little magic mountain kingdom for the little sitting Buddha. I had this in mind as I worked...
