eildon hills and the river tweed

Taken from Scott's View near Melrose. Sir Walter Scott's favourite view apparently. I can understand why - it's absolutely beautiful.

Headed off early this morning in the hope of catching a bit of nice colour from the sunrise. Managed to get poked, scraped and stung as I tried to get through the gorse bushes and over a fence to get a slightly different view from the one you can see from the stopping point on the road.
