A meal for cold weather!

I made vegetable hotpot for tea tonight. Although I could make it all year I do like to eat as seasonally as possible and today marked the first hotpot of the autumn as the weather has been so cold. I enjoyed it very much too!

Today is the anniversary of the death of my Uncle George when his Lancaster crashed at their airfield in Lincolnshire when returning from a raid in WW2. It was always a particularly difficult day for my mum who lost her much loved brother. My brother ( blipper Malcornorton)went to the place where our uncle was stationed and visited the RAF crew's pub on a day of coincidences. His blip of it is here.
