Halloween

The Little Misses have been counting down the seconds to Halloween. They're so excited about it!
And they can't understand why Mummy couldn't give a rat's arse about it and thinks it's all been blown out of all American proportion and is basically annoyed by the whole thing and wishes we could get it out of the way and get on with Christmas.
We've come to an arrangement that I will not entertain anything Halloweeny until the day itself - other than carving pumpkins. Then, and only then, will I hang up some Pound Shop Halloween tat, light candles, and swoosh around like a ghost while they make themselves up and get ready for trick or treating.
They excelled themselves tonight!
It was so funny watching them do their make up. Flash forward a few years and they'll be getting ready for a big night out!!
Nanny has come down to watch them for me while I'm at work tomorrow. She came trick or treating with us too which was as fabulous as ever.
We went to Adstock as usual and had a great time going round. There's a map showing all the houses taking part and the decorations and effects were brilliant as always.
The Little Misses were more than pleased with their haul. It's less trick or treating and more wandering around the houses collecting as many sweets as you can in an hour and a half!!!
We popped into see Mr C and Mrs S for a bit before heading home. We were chatting about Mr C's Bongo which he's sent to the giant scrapheap in the sky.
Hopefully we' re going Bongo hunting at the weekend. Can't wait!!!
